| Durability Performance of the Vehicles in North American Aut 报告人:Chin-Chan Chu(朱敬娟) 主持人:彭颖红教授 时 间:9月16日星期五上午9:30-11:00 地 点:机动学院F310 报告摘要: In this presentation an overview will be given about how North American automotive companies assess the durability performance of their vehicles. This will include quick introduction of traditional techniques such as rainflow counting method, Neuber notch stress correction method, and mean stress effects used in the present practice. The talk will alsotouch onrecent interesting research resultson overlaod effects, efficient method to identify the most critical plane, digital fatigue curve characterization. Finally, the areas where research is most needed will be pointed out, in hope of getting participation from universities. 报告人介绍: HIGHLIGHTS
27 years of extensive experience in material behavior modeling, fatigue life prediction methodology, forming simulation, design of experiments, computer and web technology. Pioneered the analytical multiaxial fatigue field with the state of the art material model, multiaxial damage criterion, and a patented critical plane search method. Developed one of the best applied material models to simulate elastic-plastic behavior of structures under cyclic loading. First to develop and apply void nucleation and growth models in metal forming. Designed, and programmed a multiaxial fatigue web site for company wide usage. Outstanding ability in mathematic modeling, scientific programming, and web application.
